A tip nozzle for a surgical irrigating handpiece. The nozzle produces a fan- like dispersion pattern when pressurized fluid is ejected out of the nozzle. The nozzle is particularly useful during the irrigation/aspiration ("I/A") portion of a cataract surgical procedure.
