The finisher has a primary drive source driving a generator in a chassis. An electrical heating device (H) is provided for the drive unit and comprises of a rod shaped heating body, flat tube shaped heating body and round shaped heating body. The heating body is installed in or at the drive unit and is provided over a connecting pipe (9) that is provided between a heating body-outlet (13) and a distributing device. A detachable electrical connection (V) is provided for the connecting pipe on a transferring path to the distributing device. An independent claim is also included for an electrical heating body for installation in or at the drive unit of a mounted thick board of a road finisher.
