USE OF ORGANIC SUBSTANCES FORMING A COMPLEX WITH A TRANSITION METAL FOR PREPARING A COMPOSITION MEANT TO CATALYTICALLY BLEACH SUBSTRATES

The invention relates to the use of organic substances forming a complex with a transition metal for preparing a composition meant for the catalytical bleach of substrates, especially laundry fabrics, by means of the atmospheric oxygen or air. The bleaching of the substrate is performed in an aqueous medium which is substantially devoid of peroxygen bleach or peroxy-based or -generating bleaching system. The claimed composition is used by means of its simple application onto the support, at low temperatures and for short periods of time, while the substance used as a bleaching catalyst can be recovered and recycled.
