The wheelchair comprises a movement mechanism frame, a lift column and a seat unit. The lift column is foldable and suspendable on the movement mechanism frame. The seat unit is connected to the lift column, being height-adjustable, upwardly foldable and removable. The lift column comprises three aluminum square tubes fitted in one another by slide plates. In the outermost tube a high power motor with planet gear (1) is flanged onto the main bearing block (2). By means of a ball spindle (3) via a ball nut (4) in the innermost tube the column can be pushed upwards. The spindle back run is stoppable by a magnet brake (5) flanged onto the motor. |
