A garment hanger comprises opposed fixed garment support arms and a fixed double ended suspension hook element located between the arms, the arms being shaped such that when the hanger is suspended from one end of the hook element, the ends of the arms lie above that end of the hook element (e.g. figure 2D) so as to utilise the height above the hanging rail, and where the relative disposition of the arms and hook is fixed enabling the garment hanger to be inverted. In alternative embodiments, the adjustment of the hanger may be achieved by changing the position of the arms relative to the hook (e.g. figure 9D), or by providing a hanger with several different fixed hanging positions (e.g. figures 5B-5D), or by providing a number of hooks at different positions on the hanger (e.g. figure 4A). By offering such adjustment the hanger is able to accommodate different clothing drop levels. |
