<p>The invention relates to a process for obtaining 3-methyl-piperidine (MPI), used as a vulcanization accelerator and as an additive for lubricant oil, and also as an intermediate for obtaining 3-methyl-piperidine. According to the invention, the process consists in catalytic cyclization of the gaseous 2-methyl-1,5-diaminopentane at the temperature of 300...400A C and at a pressure of 0...10 bar, without ammonia addition, a catalyst selected from activated Al2O3, a mixture of aluminium and silicon oxide or from a natural or synthetic zeolite, which presents a ratio of 2 between the active acid nuclei and the active basic nuclei of the surface and whose specific surface is bigger than 40 m2/g while obtaining of 3-methyl-piperidine.</p> |
