An occupant restraining apparatus is provided which needs no dedicated members for mounting a gas generator on a seat-side member. The inflatable bag 12 is disposed under a seat cushion. A hose 12b extends from a gas inlet 12a of the bag 12. A duct 16 extending from a gas generator 14 is inserted into the hose 12b. The hose 12b is fastened to the duct 16 with a band 40. A stud bolt 42 serving as a mounting member for fixing the gas generator 14 to a seat pan 8, protrudes from the band 40 (FIG. 3). |
