The invention relates to the building materials and may be used for preparing the dry plaster mix. The mix includes beta - sulphate calcium semihydrate, fine-grained limestone, organic polyacid and cellulose ester, at the same time as organic polyacid and cellulose ester is used respectively citric acid and methylhydroxyethylcellulose in the following component ratio, mass %:beta-sulphate calcium semihydrate 35à40methylhydroxyethylcellulose�0,1à0,4citric acid���0,04à0,06fine-grained limestone��the rest.The mix may be stored in sealed polyethyelene bags of at least one year. The working life of the prepared building mortar is of 25à30 hours, and the setting time is of 180à240 min. The result consists in reducing the labour input in the plaster mix preparation process and in increasing the durability.
