The invention relates to a coal processing technology, in particular to producing metallurgical medium-temperature coke and accompanying combustible gas by thermo-acid coal coking in a dense layer and destined for use in metallurgy.The obtained inventive result is the simplicity of the installation, the increased reliability due to the absence of moving elements (e.g. leveling device), higher specific output, lesser dimensions and metal consuming with no conic narrowing before an unloading throat.The installment for producing medium-temperature coke comprises a vertical shaft type apparatus, a loading throat, a gas-distributing fire-grate, a manifold of air and cooling gas supply, an electro-thermal device for initial ignition, a gas outlet nozzle and a coke unloading throat, wherein the shaft angle is inclined to the vertical close to the dynamic angle of the friction slope coal/coke -25-35 deg. depending on the coal grade. |
