WOOD-WORKING MACHINE FOR LUMBER PROCESSING

The invention relates to wood-working industry and can be used in multipurpose laths for lumber processing.The invention is aimed at providing simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation of the multipurpose lath.The known wood-working machine for lumber processing is additionally equipped with a second cutting drum mounted in one housing with a device for pressing a wood piece to a planning drum, the device for pressing a wood piece to a planning drum is mounted beneath the table of the upper cutting drum.There are some other differences from the prototype.Combining two functions – planning and pressing a work-piece to the table during jointing operation- enables to reduce cost price of the machine and simplifies its design. Simultaneously, each cutting shaft is reliably-protected to meet high requirements of safety engineering.
