A process of manufacturing a tempered safety mirror glass is provided to produce the glass while preventing wave thereof, to ensure high impact resistance and safety in breaking it to protect a user, and to retain flatness of the glass by uniformly and indirectly heating the glass with convection heat and rapidly cooling the heated glass with compressed cold air having controlled moisture content. The process includes the steps of: processing a glass sheet by cutting, machining, washing and drying the glass sheet; heating the processed glass sheet by introducing the glass sheet into a heating furnace and indirectly heating the sheet at 500 to 600deg.C below a softening point of the glass with convection heat; cooling the heated glass by introducing the heated glass into a cooling device(200) and rapidly cooling the glass with compressed cold air having controlled moisture content; and producing a final reinforced mirror glass with controlled hardness by applying a reflective film on one face of the heat treated and reinforced glass, applying a coating layer on the reflective film while applying a protective film on the rear face of the glass, then drying the laminated glass to form the final mirror glass. |
