FIELD: mechanical engineering; petrochemical industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for sealed transmission of rotation to different mechanisms and devices in reservoirs containing working media with different parameters within wide temperature ranges. Proposed rotation input seal consists of housing accommodating rotating shaft and end face seal. The latter has two plates made of wear-resistant ceramic material, and intermediate plate installed in between and made of the same material in form of disk polished from both sides. Cavities made on end faces of disk correspond to form of projections of rotating shaft, and sealing elastic members are fitted in said cavities. Moreover, through holes are made on fixed plates of end seal for vacuum lubrication, and chamfers are provided over contour to receive elastic seals pressed to base of housing by flat spring and pressure nut. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability and increased service life owing to increased tightness and simplified assembling enlarged sphere of application. ^ 9 cl, 12 dwg |
