POLYPROPYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR AUTOMOBILE WIRE

Provided is an eco-friendly polypropylene resin composition for electric wires in cars, which has excellent flame resistance and heat resistance required to coat wires in cars and satisfy the conditions of wear resistance, elongation, strength at failure and whitening resistance. The polypropylene resin composition for electric wires in cars comprises a resin matrix and a metal hydroxide as an inorganic flame retardant. The polypropylene resin composition comprises: 100 parts by weight of a resin matrix; 100-150 parts by weight of magnesium hydroxide; and the balance amount of additives. The resin matrix is a blend of a polypropylene block copolymer having an EPR(ethylene propylene rubber) content of 10% or more and a polypropylene block copolymer having an EPR content of less than 10%.
