The rod supports the weight of a supply and/or hydration tube (3), without deforming the tube, and is deformed with the hand for adjusting the position of the end (23) of the rod according to the posture of the patient. The tube has a fixation unit on the rod, where the rod has a series of cable clamps (36) distributed along the tube. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for maintaining a mouth of a supply tube and/or hydration tube near a mouth of a patient (claimed), by handicapped person, sick person or persons with certain pathology who are not able to help themselves for feeding and for hydrating and needs a third person to assist them. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The malleable and flexible rod supports the weight of the tube, without deforming the tube, and is deformed with the hand for permitting adjustment of the position of the free end of the rod according to the posture of the patient in a easy manner, thus facilitating the access of the mouth of the tube without movement of head and chest of a patient, and hence facilitating the patient to help himself for feeding and hydrating by aspirating the liquid at the level of mouth even in a highly tired state. The flexible and malleable rod deforms and absorbs the shock if the head of the patient accidentally hits against the rod, thus avoiding the risk of injury to the patient. The rod is flexible so that the rod can be shaped using the hands without necessitating specific tool. The cable clamp facilitates easy replacement of the tube.
