A waterproof system for the ridge of a roof is provided to prevent the corrosion of materials and the damage of a roof by making rainwater flow along a slant of a roof not to flow in the ridge of a roof. The waterproof system for the ridge of a roof contains: primary and secondary rafters(10) coupled with each other to be inclined downward; many frames(20) arranged on the primary and secondary rafters at right angles to the rafters; primary and secondary roof panels(30) inclined downward along a slant of the primary and secondary rafters and coupled on the frames by screws(21); a ridge fastening frame(40) provided with a covering(41) to cover up the roof panel and a bearing wall(42), inserted to a space formed between facing ends of the roof panels and fixed to the frames by anchors(43); a ridge(50) installed on the ridge fastening frame and supported by an elastic member(60) such as a coil spring elastically to be centered toward side walls(52); and a ridge cover(70) inserted to an insertion groove of a horizontal support(53) of the ridge to install the ridge to the ridge fastening frame strongly. |
