An equipment for forming a diamond cutting tip using pins and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to manufacture a diamond cutting tip that can cut an object promptly and has a long service life by forming grooves in metal powder to be molded using a plurality of pins, thereby forming the diamond cutting tip such that diamond particles are accurately arranged in the grooves of the metal powder in a state that the diamond particles are not scattered. An equipment for forming a diamond cutting tip using pins comprises: a third block(16) installed at a lower side of a second block(15) of an upper mold(8) by connection shafts(17); a first upper punch(18) which is installed at a lower side of the third block, and in which a plurality of pin holes(18a) are formed; a second upper punch(20) which is fixed to a central lower side of the second block, and to which a plurality of pins(19) inserted into the plurality of pin holes are fixed; guide rods(21,21a) installed at both parts of the second block and penetrated into the third block; elastic springs(22,22a) inserted between the second block and the third block; a forming chamber(23) formed in a forming mold(9) of a lower mold(13); guide holes(24,24a) which are formed at both sides of the forming chamber, and into which the guide rods are inserted; and a lower punch(12) inserted into the forming chamber and vertically lifted or lowered by a piston rod(11) of a cylinder.
