A method for administering a drug is provided. The method includes receiving information concerning a therapeutic break period of a drug. The therapeutic break period indicates a predicted range of time when the drug will reach a pre-determined level of effectiveness for a patient. The method also includes identifying a date range that corresponds to the therapeutic break period, and graphically displaying an indication of the therapeutic break period in conjunction with the date range for at least one dosage of the drug.
