A rotatable distributor head has sleeve 14 rotatably mounted to a fixed inlet (typically with an upstream butterfly valve 11) and enclosed channels c extending transversely from an inlet. (The head is shown with a bottom cover removed to show the channels). The head is rotated by drive pulley 15. Material fed into the inlet is thus drawn into the channels c and projected out the outlets at the ends of the enclosed channels c.
