An information supply device using short-range wireless communication and a method thereof are provided to transmit information to a terminal existing within a preset range, so that a user can receive the corresponding suited information while an information provider can obtain a high advertising effect. A server(20) is connected to a DB(25) which stores pre-registered information, and searches a terminal(30) capable of conducting short-range wireless communication to transmit the information stored in the DB(25) to the searched terminal(30)(310-355). The terminal(30) is capable of conducting the short-range wireless communication, selects information to be transmitted or an information item to be received to send the selected information or item to the server(20), and receives information corresponding to a previously selected item from the server(20) when the short-range communication is available with the server(20)(360). |
