PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a method and a device capable of minimizing an amount of communication data between the respective devices and reducing input frequencies of authentication information data by a user.

SOLUTION: An image processor 134 has an authentication information acquisition part 1341 for transmitting user input authentication information to an accounting application (AcctApp) 135 connected to a single sign-on server application (SSOSA) 136. The AcctApp 135 requests a single sign-on token to the SSOSA 136 when the user input authentication information is successfully authenticated. In addition, the image processor has a token acceptance part 1342 for receiving the single sign-on token associated with the authentication information data of the user for the purpose of utilizing at least one service from the AcctApp 135 and a token management part 1343 for storing the received token.
