PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten total length of a tube-shaped heater device without changing its effective light emitting area. SOLUTION: Incandescent lamps L1, L2 are arranged in parallel with each other, and external lead wires 17, 18 at one side of the incandescent lamps L1, L2 are connected to lead wires 21, 22 respectively through connection terminal boards 25, 27. External lead wires 17, 18 at the other side of the incandescent lamps L1, L2 are connected to a lead wire 28 through a connection terminal board 30. The lead wire 28 is connected to the connection terminal board 30 at a protruded part 31 formed so as to protrude between pinch seal parts 13, 14 of the incandescent lamps L1, L2 from the connection terminal board 30. Since the lead wire 28 is connected to the terminal board 30 at the part located between the pinch seal parts 13, 14 of the incandescent lamps L1, L2, the total length of a tube-shaped heater is shortened.
