SOLUTION: A data recording system 1 includes a portable terminal device 10 and a data recording device 20 for recording the data in accordance with the data recording command received from the portable terminal device 10. A data recording device 20 is equipped with a data recording command analysis part 22 for analyzing the data recording command received from the portable terminal device 10 and determining the data recording format conforming to the portable terminal device 10, and a data recording execution part 23 for recording the data in accordance with the determined data recording format.
