PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a real-time response by avoiding event concentration upon a server. SOLUTION: This transfer control program makes a server computer function as: a storage means 34 storing a threshold value, coordinate values of a first avatar and coordinate values of a second avatar inside a virtual space; a calculation means calculating a distance between the first avatar and the second avatar inside the virtual space on the basis of the coordinate values of the first avatar and the coordinate values of the second avatar; a comparison means comparing the distance and the threshold value, and outputting a comparison result; a transfer necessity/non-necessity decision means deciding whether transfer of event information of the first avatar and event information of the second avatar is necessary or not on the basis of the comparison result; and a direct transmission/reception instruction means instructing necessity/non-necessity of direct transmission/reception to/from a first client computer and a second client computer. Thereby, the event information of the first avatar is received from the first client computer, the event information of the second avatar is received from the second client computer, and it is decided whether the transfer is necessary or not.
