PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plating treatment method, by which a top finish similar to that of a polished furnishing good can be applied onto a using part, formed from a resin material, of a game machine. SOLUTION: The plating treatment method for plating the using part 9, formed from a resin material, of the game machine includes following steps: a pretreatment step S1 for pretreating the using part 9, steps S2, S3 for applying a plurality of plating layers having different colors to the using part 9 in a stacked state after the pretreatment step, a step S4 for exposing a part of the lower plated layer by polishing or grinding the surface of the using part 9, and a step S5 for forming a coating layer on the using part 9 subjected to the polishing or grinding.
