PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability by allowing easier getting in/out of a working bench than conventional. SOLUTION: The working bench comprises right and left guide members 43 provided on both right and left sides of a gateway SP through which a worker gets in or out, formed in a part of a crew protecting fence 42, extending to the vertical direction, and an upper stage bar 44 provided above the right and left guide members 43 extending to the lateral direction so as to be movable up and down between a shut-off position where the gateway SP is shut off and an open position upward distant from the shut-off position where the gateway SP is open while using right and left guide members 43 for guiding right and left rod portions 44a extending downward from both right and left ends. It also has a medium stage bar 45 movable up and down under the upper stage bar 44 while using the right and left guide members 43 and the right and left rod portions 44a of the upper stage bar 44 for guiding both ends, and locatable upward from the shut-off position of the upper stage bar 44 in the state that the upper stage bar 44 is located at the open position.
