PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rachet type screw cap designed such that a TE band is removed from the mouth of a container together with a cap body when the container is uncapped, and the evidence of uncapping can be easily recognized even if the cap opened once is attached to the mouth of the container again. SOLUTION: A breakable area P is formed in a band 2 so as to be divided by a dividing slit 17 into an uncapping rotation band 20 moved in the direction of uncapping and an uncapping restraint band 21 restrained from being moved in the direction of uncapping. The uncapping rotation band 20 and the uncapping restraint band 21 are connected by a breakable connecting part 23 for uncapping. A ratchet is formed in the vicinity of an area where the uncapping restraint band 21 is formed in relation to the dividing slit 17. The uncapping rotation band 20 is located above the uncapping restraint band 21 and connected to the lower end of a skirt 6 by a wide bridge 25. A plurality of recesses 50 are formed at lower ends of the uncapping rotation band 20.
