PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing unit capable of easily performing attachment/detachment of a wheel and a braking member relative to a rotation ring (hub) by preventing generation of rust. SOLUTION: The bearing unit is provided with a stationary ring 2 fixed to a vehicle body side and always maintained in the non-rotation state; the rotation ring 4 connected to a wheel side and rotated with the wheel; and a plurality of rolling bodies 6, 8 rotatably assembled between the stationary ring and the rotation ring.
