PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a high roof with more excellent durability not generating crack and damage on a joint part even if a heavy weight article is mounted to a roof panel. SOLUTION: In the mounting structure for the high roof for mounting the roof panel 2 for the high roof having predetermined height to an opening of a body part 11, a side edge flange 2b of the roof panel 2 and a terminal flange 5b of a roof reinforcement 5 are joined at a drip channel part 6 and the roof reinforcement 5 (bracket joining part 5a) is connected to an upper part 11c of a side outer panel through a bracket member 7. Thereby, an input from the roof panel 2 mounted to the opening of the body part 11 is dispersed/loaded to the drip channel part 6 and the upper part 11c of the side outer panel.
