External lines 22 connected to a LAN 30 to establish pseudo private lines and having individual line numbers (for example, 5 and 3 ) are preliminarily assigned with the same identifier (for example, ID 2 ). A sender PABX 10 transmits a call to a receiver PABX 10 T and sends call information including ID 2 of the line having the line number 5 . The receiver PABX 10 T acquires ID 2 from the call information, selects the line having the line number 3 and assigned with ID 2 , and uses the line for communication. Between the two PABXs 10 and 10 T, a combination of the lines having the line numbers 5 and 3 corresponding to ID 2 can be fixedly used as the pseudo private line.
