PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron flash light emitting apparatus hardly causing an initial failure of an electron flash tube, and used up for the whole substantial life time. SOLUTION: The electron flash light emitting apparatus comprises an electron flash tube 10 emitting flash, a capacitor 2 providing a voltage to the electron flash tube, a power supply 3 electrically charging the capacitor, a charging circuit 4, a light emission trigger circuit 5 for triggering the light emission of the electron flash tube, a control portion 6, and a light emission instruction portion 64 provided in the control portion for instructing the light emission trigger circuit 5 to trigger the light emission. The charging circuit 4 includes a means for detecting completion of charging by the charging circuit, and outputting a charge completion signal 41 for transmitting the completion to the control portion 6. The electron flash light emitting apparatus, further, comprises a timer 65 for measuring a charge completion time till the completion of charging is transmitted after instructing the light emission triggering circuit to emit the light, and a no light emission determining portion 63 determining that the light is not emitted when the charge completion time is shorter than the predetermined time, wherein the light emission instruction portion 64 instructs the light emission trigger circuit to emit light again.
