PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified porous support film in which pore sizes of the porous support film are made to be small and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The porous support film has at least a pore size structure. The method for producing the modified porous support film includes a permeation process for permeating a high polymer solution in which the high polymer is dissolved in a solvent into the inside of the support film and a polymer-adhering process for forming a high polymer-adhered surface onto which the high polymer is adhered to the surface of the pore size structure by evaporating the solvent from the solution adhered to the surface of the pore size structure of the support film.
