PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reset the lens microcomputer, together even if the camera body microcomputer is reset, to prevent inconsistency between the camera body microcomputer and the lens microcomputer from occurring. SOLUTION: When a situation arises where the microcomputer in a camera is required to be reset inside the camera, the in-camera microcomputer executes reset processing and cuts off the power supplied to the lens, when resetting is required. Thereafter, when power is turned on again, power-on is automatically reset and both the camera and the lens can be reset.
