PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample analyzing apparatus capable of suppressing the amount of use of a cleaning liquid. SOLUTION: The sample analyzing apparatus is provided with: a sample injection device 20 for injecting a sample 21 to a reaction container 11; a reagent injection device 30 for injecting a reagent 31 to the reaction container 11; a verification device 50 for verifying the reaction between the sample 21 and the reagent 31 injected in the reaction container 11; and a cleaning device 60 for cleaning the reaction container 11. The apparatus cleans the reaction container 11 injected with the sample 21 and the reagent 31 after verification, and repeatedly uses the reaction container 11. The sample analyzing apparatus has cleaning condition data previously registered in relation to both reagent data on the injected reagent 31 and reagent data on a reagent 31 to be injected next time, derives cleaning condition data on the basis of both the reagent data on the injected reagent 31 and the reagent data on the reagent 31 to be injected next time, and cleans the reaction container 11 on the basis of the cleaning condition data.
