PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an acceleration tube capable of forming a uniform electroformed layer on the whole of the outer circumference of a tubular structure even in the case of a small-sized acceleration tube, such as a C band, an X band and the like. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the acceleration tube 1, a plurality of cylindrical spacers 11 and holed disks 13 are alternately stacked to form an almost tubular structure 3, and then, an electroformed layer 15 is integrally formed on the outer circumference of the tubular structure 3. The tubular structure 3 is pressedly held under in the axial direction by pressing bars 45 arranged outside the outer circumferential face thereof, has the width L2 shorter than a space L1 between the adjacent pressing bars 45. Electrodes 83 extending in the axial direction are arranged outside the adjacent pressing bars 45 respectively, and a current is made to flow between the tubular structure 3 and the electrodes 83 in electroforming liquid 99 to perform electroforming.
