PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hole closing plug which reduces the cost by integrating into one component a buffer member regulating overrun of a door and the hole closing plug previously provided with the door. SOLUTION: A buffer piece 11 is formed at the tip end of an extension part 142 extending from the hole closing plug 15 in the hole closing plug 14 fixedly inserted to the working hole 15 for assembling of a door attached member 12 formed on a bending peripheral edge part 901 of a door inner panel 9. The buffer piece 11 is interposed in a clearance T wherein a turning end edge 101 of the door 1 and a front end overlapping edge 202 of a rear door disposed on the rear side of the vehicle body are opposed in the door thickness direction.
