The method involves supplying fuel and combustion air to a combustion chamber (1), and withdrawing convective heating surfaces arranged in an upper part of the chamber. Additional heat is escaped via a center wall that is inserted as evaporator and extends vertical and perpendicular to a front wall of a burner and to opposite wall of the chamber. The burner is arranged on each side of the center wall in the front wall of the burner. An independent claim is also included for a combustion system for implementing a method of combustion of fossil powder-like fuel.
