ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TRANSFER PAPER

An electrophotographic transfer paper consisting of a coated paper having a coating layer of pigment and adhesive superimposed on at least one major surface of raw paper, characterized in that the adhesive contains a branched copoly(meth)acrylamide of 5×10⁴ to 100×10⁴ weight average molecular weight having a cationic group and/or anionic group. This electrophotographic transfer paper, despite reduced basic weight and reduced coating amount, excels in high-speed sheet passage and exhibits high aptitude for high-speed copier/printer. In particular, when a printability enhancer is contained in the coating layer, there can be realized enhancements of ink adhesion and surface strength at offset printing.
