<p>The rotational angle with a small sensing variation and a high accuracy can be detected while alleviating the influence of the noise produced at the signal read circuit, and the time lag till the output of the detected angle can be reduced as much as possible. A rotation sensor comprises a magnetic sensor array (5) and a magnet (7) rotating while facing the magnetic sensor array (5). The signal from the magnetic sensor array (5) is read by a signal read circuit (11). Repeating means (13) allows the signal read circuit (11) to repeat the read of the signal from the magnetic sensor array (5). The signal thus repetitively read is integrated or averaged. A rotational angle computing circuit (14) computes the rotational angle of the magnet (4) from the integrated value or average value obtained by the repeating means (13).</p> |
