<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic translation system capable of simultaneously comparing a translation result from machine translation which is able to translate an arbitrary sentence with a translation result from example translation having almost 100% translation performance for a sentence included in examples. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic translation system is provided with an input text distributing means 21 for transferring an input text to a machine translation means 22 and an example translation means 23 and a result integrating means 24 for organizing results from the machine translation means 22 and the example translation means 23.
