PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the direction of operating an operation part match the direction of moving a slider. SOLUTION: In a slide guide device 26 which moves and fixes the slider 2 onto a guide member 1 has a plurality of retaining recessed parts 3 provided in the guide member 1, a locking protrusion 4 provided on the slider 2, an energizing member 5 for energizing the locking protrusion 4 to the locking position P1, a cam body 6 which is displaced from the neutral position P3 to move the locking protrusion 4 to the releasing position P2 and a manipulator 7 provided at the cam body 6. When the operation part 7 is moved and the cam body 6 is displaced relative to the slider 2, the locking protruded part 4 is moved to the releasing position P2 against the energizing force by the energizing member 5, thereby causing the slider 2 to be moved directly in the direction the same as that of moving the operation part 7.
