PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive air conditioner capable of ensuring a sufficient foot space for an occupant by arranging the air conditioning unit inside an instrument panel. SOLUTION: This automotive air conditioner includes: the air conditioning unit 2A located inside the instrument panel 1, a fan 5 located at the rear of the vehicle in the longitudinal direction of the air conditioning unit 2A and an air duct 20, located at the rear of the air conditioning unit 2A, for introducing outside air thereinto.
