<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can decompose an odor component due to heating of fixation processing with high efficiency to eliminate an odor and so on, and can also obtain sufficient practical effect of deodorization at low operation cost and low maintenance cost with low power consumption and low noise. <P>SOLUTION: A deodorizing device 70 is provided between a fixing roller pair 5 and a paper discharge conveyance roller pair 11. In the deodorizing device 70, a negative ion generating device 71 is arranged on the bottom side of a case 70A, and a conveyance path 73 for a sheet is provided penetrating the case 70A; and an entrance shutter 74 is provided at a sheet entrance and an exit shutter 75 is provided at a sheet exit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
