<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively perform a transmitting method of a video frame for a live display and a transmitting method of a video frame for recording. <P>SOLUTION: In a network camera device for transmitting the video frame produced in an imaging unit to a client device, each of video frames produced in the imaging unit is to be temporarily held in holding means, and a process for making each of the held video frames transmitted to communication means is to be performed when a request of the transmitting method of the received video frame is a request of the transmitting method of the video frame for recording.
