PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual machine generating device which allows programming for generating a virtual machine which demonstrates specific functions by spatial structure generated in artificial life. SOLUTION: A CPU 120 converts one-dimensional node chains coupled by shared bond into one node having a character string of (functional characters + template characters) (aggregation) and when a predetermined template sign is included in the representative node, cuts special kinds of edges immediately after the template sign. Furthermore, special kinds of edges or other kinds of edges are stretched according to sets of complementary template characters.
