PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of an extrusion molding product by preventing retention of a molten resin generated in a resin pressure sensor mounting part, and to improve abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance of the resin pressure sensor by enhancing the mechanical strength of a pressure sensitive part of the resin pressure sensor. SOLUTION: This resin pressure sensor 1 is equipped with a pressure receiving rod 7 installed on the periphery of an outlet of an extruder 3 or on the periphery of an inlet of an extrusion molding die 5, and used for detecting a resin pressure of the molten resin B flowing into the extrusion molding die 5 and keeping it within a prescribed range, and receiving directly the resin pressure of the molten resin B flowing into the extrusion molding die 5; a cylindrical pressure receiving rod holder 11 for holding the pressure receiving rod 7 in the state where a slight gap 9 is formed between itself and the pressure receiving rod 7; and a measuring means 13 for converting motion of the pressure receiving rod 7 into an electric quantity corresponding to displacement of the pressure receiving rod 7, expressing it numerically as a pressure value, and outputting the result.
