PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat for work which can obtain high compressibility against load, has high cushioning effect, and high stability. SOLUTION: The mat for work is provided with hemispherical projections 2 at predetermined even intervals on the lower surface of a base panel 1 with their tops facing downward. Hemispherical projections 3 are disposed on the upper surface of the base panel at a distance equal from the adjacent lower surface projections with their tops facing upward.
