A disc brake is provided to prevent unwanted rotation of a piston when hydraulic pressure is generated, by providing a rotation preventive projection to an inner pad, and a rotation preventive groove to a contact member. A disc brake comprises a carrier(30), inner and outer pads(33a,33b), a housing(35), a cylinder(36), a piston(37), a close contact part(70), and an insertion part(60). The carrier is connected to a proper position of a vehicle. The inner and the outer pads are mounted to inside and outside of the carrier, respectively. As being reciprocated, the inner and the outer pads are contacted with both sides of a disc(40) partly protruded toward an upper part of the carrier, thereby braking the vehicle. The cylinder is formed at one side of the housing. The piston is disposed inside the cylinder to push the inner pad. The close contact part having a disc form is connected to a front surface of the piston and surface-contacted with the inner pad. The insertion part is forced into the piston. A vent hole(72) is formed at the close contact part to let compressed air in the piston to escape.
