A device for preventing fire diffusion installed on a drain pipe of an apartment house is provided to prevent fire from being diffused to the other houses by automatically closing a path of the drain pipe in a fire. The device for preventing fire diffusion includes a rectangular base plate mounted on a wall(1) in the state that a drain pipe(3) penetrates the center, a rectangular cover(20) connected to the front side of the base plate, and a pair of blocking members elastically supported so that a rubber packing of respective inside end parts are pressed from both sides to the center by being inserted between the base plate and the cover.
