<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-glare hard coating film having high hardness, scratch resistance and satisfactory antiglare properties, to provide a manufacturing method of the anti-glare hard coating film, to provide an optical element that uses the anti-glare hard coating film, and to provide an image display device that is equipped with the film or the optical element. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-glare hard coating film 4 comprises a transparent film substrate 1 and; a hard coating layer 2 that contains fine particles 3 and is formed, on at least one side of the transparent film substrate 1, wherein the hard coating layer 2 has a thickness of ≥15 μm and ≤30 μm, the fine particles 3 have an average particle size of ≥30% and ≤75% of the thickness of the hard coating layer 2 and the fine particles 3 form unevenness with θa value of ≥0.4° and ≤1.5° in accordance with JIS B 0601. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
