PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously facilitate manufacture of a throw-away tip for machining a right-angled corner with a main cutting blade and a sub-cutting blade, to facilitate machining of a tip seat, and to improve stability of fixing by a cutter body and fitting accuracy. SOLUTION: This throw-away tip 1 includes: a top face 2; a flat base 3; two side surfaces 4, 4 respectively having an upper side surface 4a and a lower side surface 4b; two end faces; four nose parts formed on the corners of the top face 2; a main cutting blade 6 formed by ridge lines at positions where the upper side surface 4a and the top face 2 intersect; a sub-cutting blade formed by ridge lines at positions where the end faces and the top face intersect; and an axial support surface constructed by part of the end face, wherein the upper side surface 4a is a curved surface having an angleθ1 of inclination to the base 3, the lower side surface 4b is a flat surface having an angleθ2 of inclination to the base 3, and the upper side surface 4a is projected outward over the lower side surface 4b.
